There is a mandatory disclosure process in California in dissolution proceedings that requires spouses to exchange financial information with one another regarding all of their assets and debts.  For many families this is an overwhelming endeavor.  We work together in our session to identify all of the assets and debts and begin to discuss settlement proposals.  Other issues for discussion are parenting plans, child and spousal support, division of retirements and other property or debt acquired during your marriage.
